Walton-Verona Elementary School

After installing nora flooring in its middle and high school facility in 2007, the Walton-Verona school district once again turned to nora and installed norament^® grano and noraplan^® eco throughout the vast majority of the district’s elementary school. Officials cited prior success with nora, noting high school and middle school teacher accounts of the enhanced underfoot comfort the flooring provides, as well as the reduced noise in the busy corridors and classrooms. Walton-Verona officials also transferred the efficient maintenance practices to the elementary school, reducing chemical and labor costs. In addition to saving time and money by using mostly water to maintain their flooring, the school occasionally uses the nora^® pro clean system to remove tough substances, like food spills and stepped-on crayons in the elementary school. The clean, consistent look at the Walton-Verona schools has been a great strength of the district and has helped provide a healthy atmosphere that ensures student learning and well-being.
