Weinheim, April 2021 - Rubber flooring manufacturer nora systems, part of Interface Inc., is expanding its management team: effective immediately, Rob Heeres, Vice President Operations at nora, will take on additional responsibilities and support Ton van Keken, Vice President Supply Chain EAAA (Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia), who has been Managing Director of nora systems since the beginning of 2019. Heeres has already been responsible for production, planning and logistics in Weinheim since the end of 2018.
The new function will support day-to-day business at management level with short paths and further increase efficiency at the site. Heeres has ambitious plans for the coming years: "Various projects are currently underway with the aim of increasingly gearing production towards sustainability and further reducing our carbon footprint." One of these measures is the reduction of production waste. "In addition, we are working to further advance the use of recycled raw materials in order to take another step towards circular economy," the new managing director continues.
