Interface unveils noraplan convia rubber floor product

New product features classic tones with granule design at budget-friendly price points

Weinheim, October 2022 – Interface®, a worldwide commercial flooring company and global leader in sustainability, today unveils its latest nora® by Interface rubber flooring product, noraplan® convia. Born out of the desire to create aesthetically pleasing, functional spaces to work and learn, noraplan convia offers great functionality and durability to suit a range of project budgets.

Design options

noraplan convia has a standard palette of 20 classic and neutral tones including greys, beiges, muted blues and greens, and a terracotta. Each base colour features five dispersed colour granules that provide a unique, nature-inspired depth to the floorplate. The product also offers eight accent colours in yellow, purple, green, blue and red to give designers extra choice when thinking about wayfinding or space adaptation. When paired with Interface carpet tile, other nora rubber floor or luxury vinyl tile (LVT), noraplan convia offers affordable design options to make a space unique.

Ambience with noraplan convia rubber flooring

“Great value does not have to come at the expense of enduring design, product quality or the planet,” explains Katja Selberdinger, Head of Product Design at nora by Interface. “noraplan convia is functional, can be used in high traffic areas and is independently verified carbon-neutral to support building certifications including LEED and BREEAM”.

Like all nora floor coverings, noraplan convia is ergonomic, slip-resistant, and easy to maintain and keep clean. The products are also free of PVC and phthalate plasticizers. noraplan convia is certified carbon-neutral through the Interface Carbon Neutral Floors™ programme, at no extra cost to customers. The Weinheim rubber plant is continuously working to avoid or reduce CO₂ emissions and thus further reduce its own CO₂ footprint. The company is voluntarily offsetting the emissions that are still unavoidable.
